Human augmentation? I have been thinking what consequences man made limbs, or in Deus Ex called ‘human augmentation’, would or could have, like a lot of chaos because of an unfair balance in intelligence or physical power leading to easy robberies or a lot of ‘traps’ to loose your money in, being “stupid”. But I like this business approach to make those cyborgs addicted to a certain drugs to make them function. Money easily makes companies blind for moral questions. The possibilities to enhance this technology will become available in the future and is already used, if we took a look at the disabled. But will mankind stay ‘smart’ enough to refuse going beyond their human limitations?
